"My first observation of North Texas Dance Academy is of how amazing the caliber of dancers are at the studio! My oldest daughter attended this year's recital - she has been my youngest daughter's constant dance "teacher" since she was 4. She's a great little dancer too, and was a drill team officer like Mrs. Holley. She was quieted by the talent at NTDA; of the dancers of course, no one can dispute that; but more over by the talent of the teachers/choreographers. NTDA has an extremely talented staff that holds something very special! We painstakingly went through the process of choosing a new studio for my daughter before deciding on NTDA. She did hours of research and had narrowed the field down to NTDA and another well-known DFW dance program. We visited both studios, but when we walked into NTDA, she looked at me and said, "This is my new home." It was more a gut feeling than anything because she didn't see any classes or dancers; she just knew in her heart that NTDA was where she was supposed to be! I'm glad I listened!" |
"We absolutely LOVE NTDA for so many reasons that it is impossible to list them all. Therefore, we decided to go straight to the source for a few highlights! We have two young dancers who have told us that their favorite thing about dancing at NTDA was that it was FUN, the instructors are SO NICE and such great teachers, that they love the choreography of the dances and costumes, and of course the friendships that they have established at the studio. Our girls absolutely love every single one of the teachers at NTDA. They are all amazing! Mrs. Holley, and her staff do a great job of developing the dancers, at all levels. We also feel that the amount of personal attention that is given to the dancers is above and beyond what we would typically expect from a studio. We have been so pleased by my older daughter's drive and determination to improve her dance skills, mainly because of her desire to impress her instructors each week. I can honestly say that I have never had to "push" either one of my girls to get ready for dance. They ALWAYS look forward to class and are actually begging me to sign them up for MORE than our schedule will allow for the coming semester! Both girls dance all over the house, almost all of the time. They are both on the Twinkler Dance Company and would be at the studio dancing every night of the week if their schedules allowed them to do so. My husband and I are thrilled that they "want more" after all of the time and money that we have invested. I also love that they feel so comfortable and "at home" at the studio. "It means so much to me that when Haley is not with me that she is with her dance family. For as much time that she spends, and will spend at the studio, I feel so good that she is there. Besides dancing, she is learning many other things (teamwork, individuality, respect for authority, focus, control, fun, challenges, desire to want more, presentation skills, confidence, etc...).
